Description Uh, yes.
It happened, actually. I'm back in the boyslove corner. But I admit I'm happy about it because it's for the right kind of story.

[spoiler begin]
I dumped the first book of the Nightrunner Series "Luck in the Shadows" on my amazon wihlist some time ago. As it goes, I forgot about it (and I forgot if I ever knew what it was about beside fantasy and spying) and only recently I ordered it 'cause I lacked books.

Then I started and owee, all male characters, hmpf. I read something different, then returned and got hooked during their flight to Rhíminee.
I ordered book 2, went home to learn for an exam, did the exam and read the book in 12 hours straight.
The feeeeelings! So much emotion in small gestures!
Not to mention the end.
Number 3 was still great with all about Aureen and Klia and everything.

When I started the fourth book I actually had the feeling of reading a not particulary good fanfiction. Aside from the fact that they were sold as slaves (cliché!!) they didn't act in line with the former novels at first. It get's better during the middle. Thank you for that much.
[/spoilers]

That's as far as I am, I would be grateful if I don't have to read any spoilers.

*babbling on*
When I really like a book I always search for fanart. ö.ö Sometimes there are good ones. It's actually rather rare, cause these stories are mostly not as well known as Harry Potter and co.
And well, there wasn't much that suited my imagination of Alec and Seregil... but that was just as well.

Now, for the sketches:
1: my very first one, after two portrait sketches into my sketchbook (those were to play with features and hair); only me can be as dumb as to draw characters with wet hair the first time I seriously draw them. Meep. I'm still quite satisfied, though. Mind the mosaic!

2: xD SDs... well, with weapons!

3: Stag and Otter. Amazing animals for amazing men...

4: There was some scene in book 2 when Seregil came home to find Alec asleep on the sofa (I thought with the cat but I'm not sure and the book is not with me). I didn't add the dried tear traces, though. Wanted something cuter.

5: As I said, the book is not with me now, so I don't know the exact wording, but it was when Seregil went off alone as a beggar and Alec fixed the clean spot on his cheek.
I know, Seregil isn't looking very dirty, but I didn't want to spoil the sketch for the effect. If it get's color his face will be dirty. I still have an issue with Seregils right shoulder and the damned coat, but am going to fix this later.

- end of amazingly long description -
Woah.
More to come I think. There are still ideas...

Greetings,
Sturmi

This is absolutely awesome. Especially, I adore your Illustration of Alec. It's really absolutley like I imagined him when I read the first book(s) ... later on hes getting less cute but more handsome and (so adorable) he grows a little bit taller than Seregil "Like half an Inch, or so!" - he exclaims in "The White Road" (or has it already been in "Shadows Return?"
Short Story long told ... i really adore those Sketches!

I'm glad you like them! >3<
I guess i will have no choice but doing more of them. I still have to read book 5 and 6 and I'm sure there will be moments between them that will stir my drawing hand.
