Found a few Garter snakes while i was raking leaves and had a heck of a time catching them so that they wouldn't get run over by the lawn mower. They are sooo cute!Related content

I have a keen eye for nature and my surroundings. Just the other day I spotted a peregrine falcon in the city while I was walking out to the car. When I pointed it out, "WHAT THE HOW DID YOU SEE THAT?!"
It was in a pine tree about ten feet off the ground. Really close, but hidden in the needles.

Aww, little snakies are so cute! I cought then that parks sometimes, but I just look at them and let them go. I don't think I'd want to keep then as pets. I really like snakes though

lemmy guess you live in Toronto....theres tones of them in the Niagra falls regon! I havent caught any yet....but Ive seen several of these guys as road kill.......*tiz a shame* I love those guys!

I used to be afraid of snakes 'cause i thought that all snakes were poisonous.
then I learned to like them.
now, I sometimes look under plywood to see if i can see one resting (theres a lot of Black snakes around our house) its fun to watch them crawl around and its funny when my dog finds one, because he sniffs it ,then he barks at it, and then he lies down and just watches it.

wouldnt that be totally cool? if they had two heads? ive seen some with two heads...birth defects or something...but only pictures, not real life...but that would be cool! and i love snakes too, they're so unique.

I've only seen ones on the TV, on the news (when it was the first one, born in a zoo). I would love to see one in real life. ALthough it would praobably be very sad, because it wouldn't live very long.
I once went to see, in Amsterdam Zoo, in a museum part of the zoo, all the foetus' and babies that had died, of animals, that were in someway mutated. It was very good, yet at the same time, so sad. I loved it, but at the same time, I was crying. There was a huge collection of them. Siamese monkeys, pigs with no feet, etc etc... there was a big sign outside this collection, with a warning that some would not like it as it is a very sensitive collection. It was amazing, worth going to see, but very very sad.
