Description About:
A simple transparent Rainmeter config, width 1280 px.

Relatively easy to modify, but if you have any problems feel free to ask for help in the comments.

Update May 28:
New version: [link]

Update May 13:
- Fixed winamp currentpos bug (position read 0:09 => 0:9 etc)
- Changed G to GB like it's supposed to be, but was forced to move everything a little because of the extra letter and my over 100 GB drives
- Resized shortcut areas = fixed bug where mouseover animations got stuck when moved cursor out of bar area
- Minor repositioning of objects
- Changed text color to completely white instead of greyish-white
- New preview pic

Installation:
1. Extract fonts (inside Fonts-directory) to C:/Windows/Fonts
2. Extract the whole "Suffix v3"-directory to your rainmeter/skins -directory
3. Run Rainmeter, right click its taskbar icon and choose Suffix v3/suffix.ini from the Configs-submenu
4. IF you want to place the bar on the absolute top/bottom of your screen (not just under the taskbar like in the preview pic): Right click the bar and uncheck Skin menu -> Keep on screen and Snap to edges.
5. Final code edits and you're done!

More:
I recommend using something like DesktopCoral [link] to "reserve" the bar portion of the desktop so maximized windows don't go over it.

Enjoy, feel free to pimp it as much as you want. please!

I like it! Especially the HD bars and information.

I'd like to suggest that you possibly make a download that has all the different things separate. For example separate configs for the HD bars, time, SWAP, RAM, CPU and then also have the background separate too.

Just since that's what I'm interested in having so that I can customize it! Thanks for the upload!

Figured it out! I edited the code a bit, changed a few things.

It's quite simple, and thanks for the little idicators showing what's what! I split it up, made some new .ini files so that I could move the things freely.

Also I like how the pics open the HD! Hard to find those for Rainmeter! Thanks again!

Darn, the visual style you're using was deleted... And his Aquos III isn't finished... That visual style is perfect, especially with your cool rainmeter skin.

If you want the VS very badly, I'm sure you can find it _somewhere_ on the internets with some googling and clicking around.

Yeah, I think I found Aquos I and II. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm far too used to deviantART to search elsewhere xD

It's just the Vista theme... It was named Aquos, but apparently it's been deleted for some reason. [link] <- the theme's creator.

I like it, I'm using a modified version now, to fit my 1680px width screen and 5 harddrives.

By the way, when I was repositioning and adding more harddrives meters I noticed that M and P, if I remember correctly you named them, has wrong relative position on [MeterDiskPercentShw#] and [MeterDiskNumShw#]. The relative position to each respective meter would be +148px from i.e. [MeterDiskPercentShwC] and [MeterDiskPercentShwM] (or whatever is at the right side of C) so if [MeterDiskPercentShwC] - X is 100 then [MeterDiskPercentShwM] - X would be 248 (100+148=248). But this is not the case with MeterDiskPercentShw and MeterDiskNumShw on M and P, I think one had +147px:s and the other +150px or something... This is probably a thing you missed when you changed G to GB.

Yeah, probably missed it I'll make them symmetrically placed for the next version.

Well this is very cool and i have modified it mostly successfully except i cannot add another drive and have the disk bar and the used/total space counters to work. after I refresh all it just gives 2 errors, "The meter [MeterDiskFreeBarF] cannot be bound with [MeasureDiskUsedF]" and "The meter [MeterDiskNumShwF] cannot be bound with [MeasureDiskUsedF]" Can you tell me what is wrong?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

suffixpro In reply to dogisfat1 [2008-05-12 22:05:15 +0000 UTC]

It would appear as if [MeasureDiskUsedF] could not be located, I have all disk measures starting on line 30 in the config. You probably only copied/renamed the later codes starting from line ~435.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

suffixpro In reply to suffixpro [2008-05-12 22:10:54 +0000 UTC]

If that didn't make sense, there should be something like this in the beginning of the config around lines 30-70 for it to work:

[MeasureDiskFreeF]
Measure=FreeDiskSpace
Drive=F:

[MeasureDiskUsedF]
Measure=FreeDiskSpace
Drive=F:
InvertMeasure=1

[MeasureDiskTotalF]
Measure=FreeDiskSpace
Drive=F:
Total=1

-----
That should do it!
