Final product of my example frames:
Not gonna lie, making animated sparkles is a bit of a pain, but it can turn out so lovely!
By the way, I used GIMP for this tutorial (and everything else I draw), and it's a completely free program! You can learn more about GIMP and download it for free here .

I used to be that way x) Now I just have to get in the zone and then it's all right. I guess I've also had enough practice, too, that I'm not so intimidated anymore.

Yeah its like I start doing a pixel thing
but then I'm new at it so I look at my drawing and it SUCKS
so I quit : P
I know I'll never learn like that but I'm a bit OCD sometimes and I need my things to look nice, I just can't handle it D:<

Girl, I DO THE SAME THING. I used to almost never draw because I would find my sketches so hideous that I felt shitty about myself and couldn't bear to continue. I don't really like practicing new things, because I don't like it when my artwork looks bad xD Like, I'd love to do digital painting. But the like two times I've tested it out, it looked HORRIBLE like twenty minutes in, and I couldn't bear it xD Sometimes it's just hard to tell if it'll look right if I continue, or if I should scrap the whole thing. You know? Sort of like the "sunken cost" fallacy... except the opposite o_O;

lol good to know that someone feels my pain! ;-;
Yeah, I've done that with a lot of new things I tried. Especially making little clay charms. When I first started everything I made SUCKED and I had no idea what I was doing.. don't think I ever finished a charm back then lol. But now that I've watched so many youtube tutorials and understood what I had to do, I have so much fun making them <33
Man, I stated a digital painting of a goldfish. It didn't look too bad, I'm sure if I kept going it would've turned out deccent.. but I just wasn't confident enough to continue so I just quit D: I'm sure its collecting dust in a folder somewhere on my computer >->;;;
