Well, for those of us who played Tales of the Abyss, and are also fans of FMA......Goodness, even for those of you who didn't...
BONES would be rolling in its grave (no pun) to see how Jade Curtiss single handedly robbed Edward Elric and Roy Mustang of all their character traits and background stories...
And somehow turned out far better than the both. Hoh!

The fact I've finished the whole FMA series and played Abyss more than once gives me no excuse for not noticing this sooner.
I think there are lots of similarities between the Tales series and FMA though. It's werid.

I played Abyss again recently and I was sitting there slack-jawed at the sheer Mustang-ness of Jades character and then I remember the whole Neblim thing and I'm like. -.-

I've heard of such about ToA so this was like.....
The fact that this was done in a very simple manner like those of 4koma and such ( uses that method *o*); this was pretty cool!

Oh wow! I didn't even think of that. ^-^; Really, since it was a comic about 'ripping off FMA', I tried to base them off the FMA chibi OVAs. They were originally going to have fully-drawn chibi!eyes, but I drew Luke's pocket-button and another black dot on another layer, accidentally moved that layer... and got the eyes that you see in the first panel.
