One from last summer. We had 32 degrees in Sydney today..just the 11 degrees above normal..this summer is going to be a stinker and we will need our beaches to cool off.Related content

Great range of color. Did you go for the mid-day shot for that reason?
I always like the sunrise/sunset for the saturation differences, but I could see how in this location it would take away from the polar spectrum of color.
Spot on composition as well.

well it is the best time for colour but I was actually being a tourist and enjoying the park and a little rock climbing exploring, so wasn't a dedicated photoshoot.Sunrise here would be terrific. Its 7 hours south of were I live

Not too terrible of a drive really. I would definately agree on the sunrise, but that would make for a very early morning if you can't camp close by.
