the thing is that tools that are created to "fix" photos are (at least for me) often good for the opposite purpose... like lens distortion and vignetting. it gets sort of "natural" with squares to create or evoke circular patterns.

Thank you I think LB's blur plus grain in some cases can create a definite "atmosphere" and somehow dissolve the space, its limits.
