Any tablet will do actually. I think getting a medium size one is best for starters. If money is not a problem get a large one (9x12in). Although, the one I have is pretty old, I believe they're selling Intuos 5 right now.
And yeah, the more you draw, the better you get. The first time I used a tablet it was a horrible experience. I thought I'd never get used to it. (Don't take tablet drawing classes, that'd be a waste of money!)

what is the resolution of this picture?
The downloadresolution of 1250x1625 p seems not the resolution have drawn this in your speeded up Video on Youtube. (because i zoomed in and saw large pixels which didnt seem to be in the Vid (watched in 720p))
how much time did it take to draw this beautiful picture?
and how long do you draw digitally in all?

Hiya!
I always start with a canvas size of 12in x 15in at 200dpi. (2400x3000 pixel). I then usually crop the picture if I need to and resize it down when I'm done drawing. (To hide the smaller mistakes!).
Mmh.. I deleted the original files of my recordings, so I won't be able to tell you exactly how long did it take... Although, I wouldn't be surprised if it took around 20 hours. (I even could keep going and add more details, but at that point I figured I was stalling a little bit)... and that wasn't all done in a single day, more like 3 weeks from start to finish! I guess I like taking breaks after all...
The first ever anime/manga doodle I drew was exactly 10 years ago. But for many years I was only doodling in my notebook during class. Pretty slow improvement from 2003-2008. I then started drawing more digitally during 2009, but slowed down until 2011 because of school and stuff. Then, in 2012, I started drawing much more. By the end of that year, I actually wanted to improve, so I began trying to include an environment with every drawings I do. I think that really helps, even though I still have a long way to go (Good thing I have my whole life ahead of me!)
I'm pretty sure a person could become good at drawing in a very very short time by studying about color, light, anatomy, perspective, etc. But the most important thing would be motivation and enjoying what you do... But eh, everyone is different, so I wouldn't know! Just draw whenever you feel like it (That's what I do!)

Eventually you'll get the hang of it.. (I wish I could give you some useful tips, but I don't have any besides keep practicing! Because that's what I did. Heheh)
