Here it is the immortal Phoenix Weavile! In all his glorious color!(Not sure if he's really immortal or not though)
This was also one of my university assignments. After a few critiques from my professor I went back and fixed my work and this is the final result.
I also made this background XD
He's quite dark in this so I might upload a version without the extreme shading so people can see his colors better.

I love the shading. Really gives off the illusion of it being at night, with the lava/magma's glow.
