i like the angle you've shot this from. it shows off her shoulder and collar bones very well. she has such nice large eyes. i don't like the hair style though. i like how it's cascading onto her shoulders, but the waves at the top and the lighter hilights kind of distract from that effect for me. i'm neutral about the sepia tone. it's nice that you had such an established model to work with.

This is a very lovely picture, espcially the wholeness. But you also got all these little details that are so nice, like the eyes.Very hoping and alone in a way, and the shadows on the neck.

i like the low contrast and the warm toning.... even pure b/w wouldn't have worked that good... eyes, hair, skin and background are all different shades of brown that fit perfectly. i like the way she seems to bend forward... seems as if there was sth interesting to see next to you
oh and i love how you set highlights with her shiny eyes, lipgloss and her earrings - a wonderful composition

wow, it's in daily fav's (and i'm not surprised). great basic portrait, with some very fragile and soft elements (her?). the reflections in her eyes is in a way good but there's also something about them that bother's me.
the cropping and composition are great as usual, and she knows how to pose, it's really the key i guess. using semi-bw was a nice choice as color would've stolen a lot of attention, now one can concentrate on the most important; forms and style. yay, i want to take shots like this

Hmm... very good composition, colour, (model )... but the girl's expression doesn't seem deep enough, she almost looks surprised... I dunno, maybe it's just me. Her hair could have been a little neater too, touched up in photoshop maybe - all constructive criticism here

I've never really been a big fan of portraits because theres always something i find something that is wrong with the pose/hair/lighting/ or anything else having to do with the model.
This is completely different tho. I love this. Its one of only maybe 5 portraits that i have thuroughly enjoyed.
