I was surprised to see a collaborative work between two DA users in a hard-copy form like this; digital is usually what I see, and the only explanation that came to mind was that hayleigh had physically mailed you the original drawing. Β But seeing how the original picture is digital, my guess is that you printed the design out on paper and colored it that way. Β Am I correct?
And on the subject of the coloring itself, it looks like you used colored pencils. Β The shading is positioned appropriately, though my mind for some reason was expecting to see greater contrast in the shading. Β (Maybe it's because I'm thinking of digital art again, and there's only so dark you can make colored pencils.)

Thanks for your comment. Yeah I know, it's not everyday I see a collab where somebody colors the picture via traditional means either. You would be correct, sir. I did print my own copy to color.

Thank you! I really appreciate it! I KNEW taking a picture was the better idea! My family's scanner bleaches the colors out too much. The quality may not be as crisp, but at least the color show better. Thank you forΒ the comment again!
