I've been playing Black 2 a lot lately, and I haven't been drawing as much as I should have lol (I named him Seabastion hence the title)

I call my Samurott "Kenkinami" and there's a few reasons why I name him that.
My original Samurott, the one I started with, was named Tsunami. The word tsunami is japanese for tidal (tsu) wave (nami). Pretty fitting for a water type based on samurai.
I bred Tsunami with a Ditto and the first egg hatched a girl. I named her Namitane (nami = wave, tane = offspring). At that time, I decide for the word "nami" to be their "family name".
I then bred Namitane with a Smergle that knew Air Slash, Brine, and Copycat. Kenkinami is their child.
The name "Kenkinami" comes from Tsunami's and Namitane's "family name" (nami) and mostly half of the japanese name for Samurott, "Daikenki", which means big (dai), sword-wielding (ken), demon (ki).
So, Kenkinami means sword-wielding demon wave. Basically, a water monster that uses swords, which is what a Samurott is.

I almost never give my Pokemon a name without any meaning Β to the name itself.
Like when I get Pokemon Y, I'll get a Noivern and name it "Dracula" if it's male or "Vladia" if it's female.
Why? Noivern obviously looks like a bat. Bat tends to equal vampire. Vampire = Dracula. Plus, the name "Dracula" actually means "son of Dragon". Kinda fitting for a dragon type.
As for "Vladia", it's meant to be a feminine take on the name "Vlad", as in Vlad the Impaler, the real life Dracula and thus we circle back to why Dracula.
See? My pokemon rarely have simple name with no meanings.

my names are usually just parts of a pokemon's name like Pattie coming from PATrat,Shaw from oSHAWott,Tyrone coming from TYROgue,Wicked coming from litWICK that kind of stuff.other pokemon,i really just cant explain...(Ite from magnemITE) and when i hatch the same pokemon 6 TIMES,naming becomes a hassle...i think its interesting how you view names...like your naming your own child XD

I chose Oshawott for White (I called him O-Show, after a certain car in a certain film...), but I wanted to use a diff. one for White 2, so I chose Snivy. I don't really like him much tho, grass types never seem very good to me. Water or Fire starters are always my favs! GO SAMUROTT!!

Samurott is cool but I can't bear to evolve my Oshawott! With the really helpful Eviolite, he can handle battles quite well even against high-level, evolved opponents. That picture just looks so striking by the way!

Which PokΓ©mon do you give it to? It only works on unevolved PokΓ©mon so for my Oshawott, a 50% increase in Defence and Special Defence is especially helpful. And if I get brought to low health, bam! Torrent time!

hmm...i guess ill keep eviolite a little longer then. i tried giving the eviolite to Chansey, but my opponent pulled a fast one....tell me,does the thing work splendidly on munchlax?

Should do since it's a PokΓ©mon that can still evolve. I think Munchlax have good defences don't they? Eviolite will give it even better defences though of course, at the expense of using any other items like Quick Claw say.

Depends on levels and stats. TheΒ base stats for Munchlax's Defence and Special Defence are 40 and 85 respectively while Snorlax's base stats for Defence and Special Defence are 65 and 110 respectively.Β It may have a beneficial or hindering nature which may affect these stats if you had two different Munchlax say. But in any case, a 50% increase on both would give a theoretical base stat of 60 andΒ 128 (rounded up slightly for convenience)Β for Munchlax as long as it's holding Eviolite. Of course, there are other stats to take into accountΒ if a PokΓ©mon evolves but unevolved PokΓ©mon learn moves quicker and moves that may not learn when evolved.Β They probably are better off stat-wise when evolved in most casesΒ but as for me, I love Oshawott too much to let it evolve so Eviolite gives him a good fighting chance.
