I just like using the gpen brush in manga studios. Over anything, using a pen and pad made the biggest difference for me

Also, how do you draw the shape of the head and body to the right shape and size, I usually run into problems with that and its very hard for me to just freestyle anime characters.

oh ok. For proportionality, I usually google search body pose sketches. I think it's very helpful to study many different poses to imitate it into the drawing
