...yet another commission sketch for a client in California last year I believe...can't remember.She just wanted Supergirl flying but I added a little extra ,made it a "family" pic.
Again one of the hardest things to depict believably...a human figure in flight!

very well done, considering the low res pic you had to work with, I especially like the texture of some of the background objects; like the trees and bushes...the house and grass.

Yeah, I didn't want the background to detract from the characters, but I also didn't want it to be just plain/solid green (or whatever color).

Very nice work on the perspecitive. Flying and looking down angles are always complicated. You did a really nice job on all of them. It's nice to see a classic version of Supergirl once in awhile. This is like the Supergirl I grew up with

- yeah, I had never drawn her before so I wanted to do something a little different yet challenging so I came up with this angle...mainly to work on my perspective and my backgrounds which I am weak at...

-thanks for refreshing my memory banks there Steven, this wasn't a commission after all, my friend/webmaster Ernest Vinson suggested that I put some pieces up on EBAY a while back-the "Maid of Might" here was one of those pieces-I acn't recall where she went to though....kids I'm tellin ya now, don't sniff glue or magic markers=you only have so many brain cells
