The angle of her face is set at an odd angle, the chin down, forehead forward, but it gives it that creepy flair, especially since youve exaggerated the eyes and made the tiny mouth tinier. my interpretation, she is morbidly transfixed on her "obsession"refusing to blink or close her eyes for one second as she might miss the one brief shining moment that the object of her desire may look back. sooo eerie yet almost sad in it representation.
