I like the star photos you took, but I think you could improve them in post processing a bit. Try to get the sky black (it won't work completely as there are lighter and darker parts) and take the exposure a little back on the plants.

In this particular photo, I wanted it to be with this greenish blue sky and not black
Also I wanted the tree to stands out with this garish color, plants are my subject not the stars
However I will take your advice into consideration
