you know when like you have an awesome idea for a drawing all of a sudden and you start goin before realising you lack the skills to complete it and be satisfied, so you give up and set it aside for your future self to do over, actually finish the way you'd envisioned it, and look back on how far you've come?

This was such a nice idea in my head, but I don't know enough about color theory and I don't know how to shoe and I wanted it to look like a finished phase 4 Jamie Hewlett drawing, and I just don't know how to do that yet. I probably lack the right tools even
So I'm setting this aside until I either forget about it or return to it.
It's been a long time since I got that feeling, of knowing exactly what you want to draw and being able to envision it but lacking the abilities to bring it to life. It's refreshing. Means I must be drawing some more variety than just the same 3 things I'm comfortable with.

Better to produce art that looks like arse + helps you grow than art that looks perfect but you don't build any skills, imo.
So here's 2D shaving his blue leg hair because he had a "complete loss of bodily hair", meaning not just his head hair is blue, and that's an idea I don't think we've played around with enough yet. I mean, no one's drawn him with a bright cyan beard? Missed opportunity.
