Yeah he does xD I hadn't intended it nor had I looked at a picture of Vaati when I designed him. Then I looked at some pictures of Vaati a few months later and was like. "Well, well crap D8"

...I really like that his arm and the tentacle look semi-transparent like liquid (since they are, and all that).
The perspective makes him look way long and gangly-skinny, but it works with the creepy mood, I think.

Something I'm wondering about Morpha, which came to me after reading one of the comments here:
If he can change genders because of the ability to change his body, why can't he just form another arm? Or does he just not want to? Or is he limited to a certain amount of body mass at any one time and can just shift it around?

Well, to be perfectly honest, I gave him one arm, because at the time I made him I felt lazy and didn't feel like drawing it in. xD I eventually gave him a reason for the lack of arm on that side: In the games, he uses one tendril to snag you, then decides to form another one later on for added difficulty. Theory wise, he would have been cursed by either the Water Temple or Link after he had been defeated, making it impossible for him to be as destructive as he was before, by not being able to create more than one modified tendril (or in this case, an arm). It's also aesthetic and gives him a suitable handicap.
On the back of his shoulder, the Water Temple mark can be seen. (The one that's on the medallion you get from Ruto)

I like the angle of this, and the gradient of the background. Its quite interesting, and I think the angle
really fits the character. I love the expression on his face, too. Interesting.

Actually no, he does not have a left arm. xDD Not that it got chopped off or anything, he just doesn't have one. He wears that cloth over it so it doesn't look as odd. xD
