My OC, Ludovic, questioning the foundation and reasoning of life.

Ludovic was in a terrible accident that all but killed him. Some unconventional scientists kept him alive, turning him into literally a cyborg with their harsh experiments. When he finally awoke from the procedures, Ludo was told that he was a machine that had been created by the scientists. Remembering very little of his past, and none of the accident, he believed their words, trusting that his memories were false.

As time progresses, however, and he finds more evidence linking him to humanity-- the fact that he can create tears and has fears being two-- he starts to question what he is and if he is alive.
He wonders if he ever was a human-- or, more importantly, if he still is one.

That thing on his finger is a moth. I added it last moment-- it doesn't even have lineart, it's just some colourful brush strokes xD -- but I'm glad that I did. C:

All that Ludovic has to sleep on is that flat mattress. He sleeps in a cell nearby other, less human experiments that terrify him.
