I'm sure the technique's also apliable to any medium. Only the tools change, anyway.

Yeah it might work on painter.
Painter Essentials works as if you were really painting and drawing.
It has a lot of brushes and tools that you can use.
I'm sure you can get a trial version on Corel's website

I think Nuala's face has better likeness than Nuada's.
But then there isn't much visual reference on him, I'd know I needed it to colour my action figure.

yeah i had difficulties with nuada's face, I changed it like a docen times, especially the mouth. He's more complicated than I thought, gah! but yeah, thanks again, and hey, you did a great job on that crappy nuada figure XD is there a before pic so I can compare? gah, the creativity of some sculpturers, huh?
