Thinking you're misunderstood is generally emo mentality, not that I'm saying 'OMG. U SAID UR MISUNDERSTUD, U DAMN EMO'
I'm just saying it's annoying to see all these people with these ID's on deviantART where they've got black hair, pushed to the side, emo style, and it says, 'I'm not emo, just misunderstood.'

Ohh, it was a standing joke I had with a friend who kept running across journals/blogs/posts about kids who bitched about being ~misunderstood~ as far as their decision to cut themselves, make their hair look like they picked up a skunk and put it on their head, and all the other beautiful cliches that one would associate with an emo kid goes (but they insist they were not emo! So, I suppose that means they're scene/annoying shits?).
To which we decided, IF YOU ARE MISUNDERSTOOD, YOU'RE EMO.
