Description
My OC Turning Hearts and Sock-N-Socks having some girl time togetherMore pixel art practice here. Would have had this uploaded a week ago if it weren't for my computer troubles. I think even with the freezes I might be able to keep creating art, it's just gonna be really, really hard until I can replace my battery. We'll see anyhow, I'm gonna try

Pixel art is, I think, always fun to work with. Tedious, but fun.
With that said, sometimes a slight misplacement of a pixel can make even one thing look a little off.
To start, my eyes were immediately drawn tot the table. The two back legs are slightly off. That could be fixed by a simple copy>paste>flip/rotate. The chairs could get the same treatment.
The characters themselves look a little stiff (although fluid motion in pixel art can be very difficult, I know) and a little miss-proportioned. For starters, Sock's eye is rather high up and rather large. Beyond the eye, I also don't see much of a facial expression. Her far-ear is also a bit randomly placed; at this angle, one wouldn't be able to see it. The far-foreleg also looks a bit odd, as if it should be a bit longer. Her hair seems to be reaching towards Turning. The wing looks a bit blocky and jagged, and seems to be sitting on the spine rather than near her shoulder. The cutie mark, bottom legs, and tail look nice though! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

As for Turning, her forelegs are bent a little strangely, and her hind legs look a bit stubby. Other than that, she looks just fine. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Far as shading goes, it doesn't look like there's a specific light source. I hear it's called "pillow shading" and it can ruin a lot of good pixeling. I recommend finding a point of light before starting to shade, and using at least four or five different shades per color [like light pink, pink, dull pink, dark pink, very dark pink].
This is quite lovely though. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Keep up the good work; you're pixel art can only improve! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
