The sketch is more like a normal drawing, so the more concrete info is all there before I go and cover it up.

Its all made in photoshop. Solid brush. First I did it with some basic colors like this [link] (creepy face without eyes) And then I blended with the same brush but transparent. The blending is what took most of the time. I did it all with the same brush, I'm definately no expert on brushes.
