I was so annoyed with myself for not being able to draw Sirocco looking like a Maremma that I had to go and check the breed standard (such a useful site! o.o [link] ) and make sure I got him down correctly. so here you see the results of my studying; I thought I'd upload those for fun. I learnt a lot about Maremma anatomy! this site is indispensable for all things Maremma: [link]and at the bottom, a refless drawing of Sirocco with one of his lambies. :3 I really love playing and creating characters of other breeds, it's given me a greater appreciation and knowledge of them. :3
black ballpoint is love. Sirocco is mine (and Ricochet's, eventually :B).

This is a very majestic breed that I wish people drew more of. I've been trying to, but I'm not sure how much mine's actually looks like a maremma and not a generic large shaggy dog. Anywho, you did a terrific job with the character. I also love the sketch of Sirocco and the lamb, it's really adorable.
