Description
I'm gearing up to apply to join and felt the need to draw some gryphons! There will be more to come of my own design, no doubt but I felt the need to do some giftart/fanart of some cool gryph characters I know of. (Photoshop sponge filter because filters are fun sometimes.)

Toucanbadger
Was nattering to *MAxKhaos about gryphs the other day, and her brain produced this guy: half channel-billed toucan, and half Sunda stink badger. I don't know too much about him or even if he has a name yet but it seemed as good a time as any to draw him. Kas has been a friend and creative collaborator for quite some time now, and her creature and character designs are always a pleasure to draw!

Tango
"But the most wonderful thing about toucats is I'm the only one!" xD that's what I picture Tango's saying, anyway. I did attempt to draw him in his jungle habitat, but it seems what he really wanted to do was stand around and pose instead! *Toucat is a relatively new acquaintance, but one whose characters I'd definitely like to know better and whose thoughtful comments are much appreciated.

Faix
The lovely Faix, of course, belonging to the lovely =snowballsweets and a character I've wanted to try drawing for some time (I adore barn owls!). Sweets has become really prolific and skilled with her art over the time that I've known her, and the magic she can work with MS Paint is an inspiration to me. ♥ I hope stuff keeps getting better for you!

What to say about ~OpalSkye ? We've been friends for a good five or six years now and her imagination and penchant for fantasy beasts and worlds always inspires me and gives me new ideas of my own. Some time ago she asked me to come up with a design for a gryphon form for her character Dee, but due to one complication or another the design was never finalized. Well, I thought I'd draw her anyway! surprise!

Will try to make giftarts into a regular thing! Gifting was always sporadic for me in the past, and I was always afraid I'd leave someone out, so I will try and make it a point to do a gift every week or so. I think it's important for me to show my appreciation for my supporters and friends here, because it keeps me humble, and I really do appreciate all of you and want you to know that. ♥ I've not always been the most patient or gracious person, I know, or the most active for that matter, so big thanks to those of you that have stuck with me and my art. It means a lot.
