I couldn't withhold myself any more of posting this. Planned for a long time, I tried to get a better photo until I tired off; didn't succeed though... sorry for the quality.Just couldn't resist showing my lovely Jazzes and Prowls.
All are slightly different from their canon selves, given that they are clones... uhm, toys.
Movieverse Jazz and Jazzling are brothers. Universe Prowl isn't a mate to Movie Jazz; Prowl's currently with Sunstreaker (and with that, automatically with Sides and Blue - LOL, poor logic-bot). He's holding a miniature G1 Jazzling - he takes care of him, though it is not officially his son, since he hasn't got his Jazz... be cursed, Hasbro, forever if not bringing up a mate for him!!!
Animated Jazz and Prowl have their sparkling sitting on Jazz's shoulder. Alternator Prowl and BT Jazz are holding hands; they are lovesick but on their very moderate way. Original G1 Jazz and Prowl isn’t a happy couple: Prowl's still missing his memory (well, most of it) and Jazz has to 'baby-sit' for him for most of the time, guiding him along the day. G1 Jazz is quite… depressed of it.

I'm wondering what economical considerations are behind not releasing a Jazz toy. He's the ever and most favorite char in every known Universe.

I know--and its not like they don't have enough MOLDS to alter for him. It's like Arcee though--she's one of the most sought after bots, but they never MAKE her.

Are they blind or what? I think the movieverse Arcee is selling good, a nice G1 would be a hit!
I like the Universe Deluxe toyline, such delicate forms, so much flexibility and smooth transformation! Just lovely.

You certainly have a nice collection of Prowls and Jazzes there and they're all so cute together. ^^ Meanwhile, what I find amazing is that there's a Prowl for Jazz (and visa versa) in almost every TF-verse. Even in Movie/Bayverse there's a Prowl he just lacks a toy at the moment. Then on that same note, well, we kinda need a Robot Heroes and Legends Prowl and a Universe Jazz as well.
On a personal note, I was thinking of lineing up my Thundercrackers and Bluestreaks similarly. Kinda backed down on that, but seeing this makes me want to try again. ...You wouldn't mind my stealing your idea would you?

I didn't want to collect them, it just happened. I had G1, and my second was (20 yrs later) Movie Jazz. Just because he was the nicest among the 2007 crew, and I tripped over and price was a reasonable 12 bucks.
Universe Prowl was in the showcase in Botcon 2008, I was glued to the glass... Aww, they're the coolest TF toys! Extremely detailed, poseable, handsome and yet transformable! In their G1 form! Somebody really put lots of efforts into designing them.
BT Jazz was an accident. While browsing on BigBadToyStore for Universe Prowl, he was offered on such a low price I couldn't resist. Never disappointed! He's TEH best model of BT/Alternator line! Mine is BT which means quality metal parts, he's heeeavy! A friend of mine told that his car mode is perfect and detailed till the distinctive Wankel-motor…
And from this you see the problem: he demanded his Prowl.
After reading fics (Light-verse) I HAD TO get Animated Jazz and Prowl.
Legends Jazzie was so sad in the plastic display case that I felt the urge to save at least one. G1 Prowl wanted to adopt him but he isn't capable to care for himself... so they decided to assign him to Universe Prowl, since he lacks his Jazz so bad.
I'm NOT IN to get Robot Heroes, too many of them! LOL and no Prowl.
