just started and finished this today after all those other submitions.
fanart for a book i just finished called Listening at the Gate. it's truley an astoundingly well written book. i recommend it to anyone who can get hold of it.

anyway, these aren't particular characters or anything. just sort of stereotype looking people.
the man on the left is an Upslope Leagueman, AKA- BlackBoot. i always sort of viewed their uniform as rather military-like. of course how i drew it is pitiful, but oh well.
then on the right is a native woman from Creek.
i had also drawn a Rig and Roadsoul, but they were on lined paper because that's all i had when i felt like drawing them .

anyway.... read that book! seriously. it's amazing.

... the shading looks soooo much better on the paper than it does on my freaking computer. -.-;
