Meet my Oc, Batterup. He is a tough and rough colt from Manehattan as well as Babs Seed's old bully.

He lives in an apartment with his mother in Hooflyn, Manehattan. His mother and father divorced when he was very young and his mother has done her best to support both him and herself ever since. He was raised with the same mentality Suri Polomare had, that "It's everypony for themselves in the big city", and understood that Manehattan's a tough city and that kids like him have to learn to stand up for themselves.

He is the leader of a trio of bullies at his school, the same one Babs Seed originally went to. At said school, Babs was picked on by her classmates for being the only one without a cutiemark. Teasing from them was bad enough, but Batterup and his two friends added fuel to the fire by always picking on her, both at school and outside of school. They picked on both colts and fillies at the school, Babs was his preferred victim due to her being a late bloomer who he knew was too weak to stand up for herself or snitch on him.

He mostly sat at the desk in the back of the classroom, giving him an opening to shoot spitballs through a straw at the back of Babs Seed's head. They would occassionally berate her for being weak and a late bloomer who's talentless due to not having a cutie mark, and in one instant, after school, they chased her to the Manehattan park and pushed her into the river, before laughing at her.

Him, his friends, and her classmates actions caused Babs to become even more meek and insecure, and for her family to decide to send her to Ponyville, so she'd get a break from all her teasing while they'd try to figure out a way to solve/end all her problems. When she returned after the events of "One Bad Apple" they decided to send her to a new school, where she meet two other blank flanks that joined her Manehattan branch of the CMC. After moving to a new school, she barely saw him again and wasn't picked on nearly as much as she use too. The times they did encounter each other again, she was able to stand up to him and intimidate him into not messing with her anymore.

Despite his actions, he played a role in Babs being tougher and learning how to stand up for herself, and teach other kids in Manehattan how to stand up for themselves as well.

But there is more to his character than just being Bab's bully. Like he loves baseball, is the captain of the baseball team at his school, and is a big fan of the Bronclyn Dodgers (even before they became the Las Pegasus Dodgers), who loves going to see them at their games whenever his mother is able to take him. He's a promising baseball player who hopes to make it to the pros when he's older.

Just like Babs, he also speaks with a New York accent, but with a Brooklyn accent instead of a Bronx accent like hers.

"I'll letcha off de hook, dis time. Go on home, run tuh your mommy's hooves. Snitch on me if yuh want. It'll just furthuh prove my point, dat your weak and can't stand up fawh yawhself. Yuh doan need a cutie mark, yuh need a backbone!"
