You've got some of the right idea when it comes to shading, but your light sources don't match up. On his tunic and sleeves, the light appears to be coming from the left, but on his hair the shine is concentrated on the upper right. It's possible to have light coming from BOTH sources, if there are two sources of light, but the same light that is affecting the tunic should affect the left part of his hair more than it currently does. Hair has a tendency to reflect light more than clothing or skin, so it would actually have a better shine from the same light source that's affecting the clothing. By contrast, his skin should not be reflecting so much light, and although the highlights on his cheekbones are in the right place, they should be softer. There should also probably be more shading on the undersides of his hair (his right sideburns and that bit of hair underneath the main 'poof') There should also be some shading-- a very shallow line of darkness-- on his skin where his hair overlaps it to show that the hair casts a shadow there.
Each individual lock of hair should have its own shade and highlight. The shades should be where the locks overlap each other, and the highlights where the locks face the light source. Depending on your style and whether you have a drawing tablet, I would also recommend drawing in the individual strands of hair, or at least suggesting them by coloring in streaks of darker and lighter shades.
Anyway, I hope I could help, and that I don't come off as too condescending oAo; I don't consider myself a professional at coloring but I do it a lot and think about these things a lot.
PS the drawing itself is very nice and aLttP Link is awesome c:
