Marlowe is in a witness protection program because he needs to lay low for awhile. Instead of the more common way of being protected he was given the chance to hide in plain sight living as someone else. He was given the body of a 33 yr old women named Irma Blanchard and was told to act like a different person while in her body. He would have to go to her job, talk to her friends and family, pay her bills etc. At first Marlowe was creeped out having to live a lie but after awhile it started getting easier walking around in her body. Now it's been 4 months since he became her and Marlowe has fully accepted the fake life he's been living and he isn't sure if he'd ever go back to his old one.
