Description
"So take a breath and count to tenAnd maybe you can dream again."
Rise of the Guardians soundtrack + sudden and very questionable free time = I really think I should be doing something else right now.
People who have to deal with me outside of DA probably know by now that ever since it came out I've been obsessed in love with Rise of the Guardians and since white haired people questionable free time (no really, how did that happen) here's a Jack Frost for you.
WIP found here .
Edit: the eye was bugging me so I changed it a bit

This is absolutely gorgeous. I just want to reach out and touch all those snow shadows/clouds/fluffs - the shading here is too beautiful for words.

That song makes me cry more than the movie itself.

Have you seen my Frost tribute(s)?
Yours is as beautiful and iridescent as that first snowflake felt...

I'm glad that you didn't go for some dark blue shadow of an ice formation for the beacground for this. Jack Frost is many things, but he's not the one to sulk alone in some dark corner. He's the kid on their way to school who stops to stare at a crooked tree and think "Why am I here?"
At least, that's what I get from this picture, he's looking out into the distance, trying to see some purpose in the dance of the snow around him.
I might be getting mighty poetic here, but this piece reminds me of the time when you just stopped and saw things differently for a moment. That moment when you pushed your glass of water into the sunlight, just to see how the shadow made a ring of light on that one part of the table. I for one miss those moments.

*sigh* This looks so beautiful! It looks as if he's fading into the white, which really suits him and the title

Thank you ever so much! I blame the Antarctica scene which is the same thing as blaming the animatiors. Yes. One must always blame the animators. And the soundtrack... I will shut up now.

Thank you very much! For a strange reason I seem to enjoy drawing faded background. Maybe something in that fact tells people something about me but I'm too lazy to think about it
