Description
This picture was created for a bifrost project: Alternative Elements. I was supposed to create an element wich was not 1 of the basics (water, fire, earth and air). To match the wintery atmosphere, I made an ice elemental. No sketches right from the computer.2004

Quite good! I love the tones you chose there. If you want some critic, chin could be less prominent. Also I think the eyebrow is missing (though it can be intentional).

THis looks very nice. I like the color scheme. The blowing hair is beautiful, though could have more texture to it. The face is gorgeous and the snowflakes are spectacular! Great job here!

beautiful ocloring. I love the glow effect you got around her face especially. A little CC, the snowflakes take away form the picture a little becuase they are obviously the same. A quick and easy remedy is having greater varaitions in opacity and rotating them a little. or you can pile two on top of each other and create an entirely new more ornate snowflake. Also the eye is a little too close to the bridge of the nose, it should be farther back at about a 45 degree angle from the nostril. beautiful picture, you captured the feeling of ice well.

I can tell this was crazy hard to do. I love the color choice and her eyes--they're very different and I really like that about them. Great digital art!!!

okay, I agree with all of the above suggestions and comments, but I have a few of my own.
1. The darkest tone on the picture is the eye, I think it could still be nice and cool if you added some darker tones in some other areas.
2. No two snow flakes are the same... I think it would be better if you had a variation in snow flakes.
Over all, I really like this piece. Great choice as your featured deviation!

I think that this is your best world, the only thing I'd say because of "advanced critique," is that the wind blown hair out towards the left mostly point up, some that point down would really help the windblown effect

This is absolutely amazing. The eyes and skin especially, it's just so real! The composition is great! You have a nice sense of balance. And you did the profile of the person AMAZINGLY! I can never get that right.

Love the element and concept. My only suggestion is to add a few smaller and thinner strands of hair make some of the existing ones sharper near the end. Good work!

I like it alot! If I had to complain, I'd suggest extending the hair a little more, kinda make it more flowing. I'm still very impressed, though. I have to say the face and colors are perfect. I have to see some of your other stuff now!

if u absolutly want to improve, the only little thing that i could see, is to rotate the snow cause they are all in the same direction so it seems un-natural
