Description A picture I did WAAAAAY back in 6th or 7th grade.

She kind of cute in her own messed-up, thinner than my pinky, awkwardly large eyes way. I liked this a lot when I was younger, and it's still one of my better relics from that age. My style has changed so muh since then...

Well, I mostly just posted this as a compainion to this [link] a recent re-drawing I did of it not too long ago. I reid to put it into one of the cliche meme things, be the quality wsa just terrible. So here they are, seperate and of good quality. Yay!

Art and Destiny (c) Sixth grade me!

I know. It is odd... But my style was kinda cute, too. Although, you should have seen them when I drwe the eyelashes... you could have killed someone with those things.

Oh my! I don't even draw people because I fail too much.

Or maybe it is the other way around.

I didn't improve that much over three years by talking about how bad I was all the time, and avoiding drawing those things...
(You'll noticed that I haven't improved at drawing animals very much in this time... )

Ohohoho, I see what u goin to do there

I haven't seen that picture actually, before. Interesting. It's got them huge markings you used to put on all your characters.

You've improved quite a bit, especially with hands, faces, and general anatomy. Though I'd say that you put your characters faces through more dynamic emotions back in the day, but that was probably because you didn't have any limitations with facial structure.

Yeah, probably. Or the fact that my mouths looked so awkwardly happy all the time. Nowadays the emotion is more subtle.

I remember up until like last year I almost always drew people with hands behing their backs because I hated drawing hands so much.

And yeah, my anatomy is getting a bit better. I'm trying to draw more from what I see/know than what I think.

The one thing that nearly always fails- my right eyes. I think I am subconciously inserting my bad right eye into all of my artworks. It's weird.

Well, I think I have an explanation as to why you don't draw the right side of the body as well as you do the left. This is because you're right handed, and thus you are always biased towards the right side of the paper. If you were to draw someone facing left (from their viewpoint, meaning that their profile would point towards the right side of the page), it would not work well since the movements of your hand in that direction are naturally impaired.

You got me bro? It's hard to explain; rather, it's easy to explain but I suck at explanations.

Uhm, I dunno, my right eyes ar eusueally worde, unless htey are facing left. Then the left eye is worse. I think it's becuase I have less space so the proportions get off and the shiny parts are too samll.

Have you ever tried drawing with different sizes? Like closeup, or faraway shots? I've always noticed that you draw the character's entire body with a certain distance from the paper. While that may be good for figuring out character designs, like this one; however, if you're doing legit stuff, experiment a bit.

As for the letter game, no I haven't forgotten it. Maybe if I'm lucky, I can get a response in by this or next month.

Okay, yeah, my perspective talents are a bit... um, lacking. One I've figured out my shading and poses, I'll work on that as well.

Yay! I'm excited to read it.
