The shadow over the eyes is splendid, very mysterious. You can still tell he's watching the clock though, simply by the way he holds it and is gazing. The red curtain is so GREAT! Adds drama and a contrast. I adore this piece.

A great concept and I love the red curtain, it seems to indicate that the fate that is coming woll be, to say the least, dramatic. It also brought to my mind the red curtain from Lynch's Twin Peaks and other films by him, where it is usually connected with evil in some way. And I like the simple but effective device of making Fate anonymous and mysterious by hiding the eyes. Good job!
