Kay, people keep asking about Scootaloo's fire magic, mainly "HOW DOES SHE TAKE BATHS??"I explain here... UwU
She has a collar that cancels magic so she can do all the water stuff like taking showers and washing her hands, but she has to dry off completely before taking it off and if she drinks water while wearing the collar then she'd have to wait until it leAVEs-
She got the collar from the government, technically you need a license for magic canceling stuff in ponytale, and it's EXPENSIVE AS FUC- Scootaloo has one cuz she's supposed to be like a... Militia? I guess? idk
But Scootaloo and Applebloom both have the collars cuz their magic don't like water.
When wearing the collar she can't use her claws, or just any other magic attacks... cuz that's what it's designed to do. lmao. The collar can only be taken off with magic so Scootaloo actually needs someone to take it off for her... Sans is good bean.
but YEAH- These are also supposed to be used for prisons, so prisoners can't use magic, but there's also a link on the collar so you can attach chains or leashes to it. BUT WAIT- It's supposed to be so the prisoner'sΒ collars can connect to each other when they're being taken out of their cells or whatever. blah blah blah MY KINK IS JUSTIFIED MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
And like in the picture, she sometimes has to wear it when shes sick cuz SHE SNEEZES FIRE OMFG-
It feels like I'm leaving out something about the collar, but I can't think of anything else. oop

I'm pretty sure in a PonyTale comic it says that her body is mostly made out of fire.
So she's basically the living embodiment of fire.

She could be made out of fire and magic but then how could that explain her bleeding? When she cries, she only cries blood because the water building up in her tear-glands hurt her and makes her look like she's crying blood when it's not. Her tears are water and if she was just fire and magic, where would the water come from to give her the ability to cry in the first place ? If she can bleed, why can't she have the body systems as well? Or can her body stand water inside her but not water from an outside source( eg. collar for bath, hose etc.)? I know the characters work a bit like monsters from Undertale but even Grillby follows his rules( he is LITERALLY on FIRE and when he passes a drink to Frisk, he tries to keep it away from him, because he could still get hurt). I do not know what the point of this is : T

I guess that is true, but what I just said, she is MOSTLY made out of fire. Maybe her blood vessels were immune to her blood, but anything else in her body isn't. And, maybe it's also from her magic and that water from inside her doesn't affect her, and only water from the outside does.
BUT hey, I didn't make Scoots. Who am I to judge?Β

Yeah, maybe it's like real-life people who are allergic to water. When the water is inside them, they're fine but if the skin touches water, their skin peels or really hurts. One problem is, Scoots in one post said that whenever she drinks water, she needs the collar until it's out of her systems. I guess this mystery will remain...

Yeah I guess that's true.. But I think that Scoots still needs the collar even if the water she drinks is inside her because it's still water and not a part of her body I guess.

So water from the inside does affect Scoots? Eeeee collar is flawed. I think it's a kewl idea but it might turn out better if this didn't apply for the characters. The whole point of the collar was to not hurt them but by adding the collar and its rules to the world, it's only leaving more holes and hurting the characters more.

Well, technically, when she drinks it, it's inside her body. But I guess it still affects her because it's not a PART of her body. For example, blood doesn't affect her because it's a vital body part. But, when you drink water, it doesn't actually become a part of your body. Sure, you get nutrients from the water but technically, the water itself doesn't become 'you'. Instead, you have to, um.. 'disperse' it because it's already a waste. That's why, when you 'disperse' the excess water, it doesn't hurt you and shiz.

Yes, it's not a part of the body but it is a vital part of the body just like your blood because 70% of it is water. Sure, 15-25% of water left in your body is how much there has to be left to kill you but by simply 'dispersing', sweating or even just breathing( water vapor)the water stored in you can be lost and just that can be equal to losing a few liters of water in the body. So only keeping the water for nutrients, and putting on the collar for just 'dispersing', the character's going to be always dehydrated and always risking dying. Yes, their bodies might work differently but it still needs to follow rules. If water hurts a fire creature but not in the inside, that would work out. But water hurts a creature but it has to drink and remain hydrated even though it hurts it on the inside, doesn't work out. Remember, water is not part of the body but it's being used to make cells, keep organs healthy, digestion and everyday bodily functions. That 70% of water isn't being used for nothing. No water, no healthy body systems and just the water for nutrients isn't enough to do all this.

But wait, isn't Scoots probs made of 70% fire? If so, maybe she just needs water for nutrients and stuff, and the fire in her body is the one keeping her organs attached and working. (This might be true, since in the description, it says when Scoots has a cold, she sneezes fire.)

The thing is, fire is in a gas state. That 70% is supposed to be fluid( a liquid). Her sneezing might means hot air is being kept in her lungs or a pouch where fire is kept around the mouth to store flames( a bit like snakes)but that doesn't mean that the body is made with fire. Having water and replacing it with fire, that's like turning the water inside someone to oxygen! At that point, you might as well be jelly. Yes, it might be the biology of the characters and Scootz can withstand the heat inside her, but then why drink water at all? Scootz wrote in the description that she needs to wear a collar whenever she drinks water, indicating that Scootz DOES need to drink water. If the body was made with fire, there'd be steam and internal bleeding everywhere! You know what would happen if the body had steam growing inside the body?! I don't know but it's probably not healthy! And if the water Scootz does needs to drink is used in anyway through her body, it would give actual internal damage because it would take out the fire that's keeping the body together! So no, I don't think fire is what she's made of. It'll do more harm than good and how would she even have survived.
