Be patient and constant, is the most important tip. Step by step you'll see that you work will be better and better every day. You can see my first works... the only secret that I have is the every day practice.

This is gorgeously done, even if the sky isn't blue. Some people would think that for a great nature/natural open space, like this, a blue sky would be a must, but I don't miss it here at all.
I like how the birds and stag stand out in this white against the colours of the rest of the painting.

This is pretty different from most of your other work. Besides Spores that is. You trying something new? The spirit animals are pretty nice effect wise. It definably stands out from it's background. The contrasting colors in the piece give it a very separated look, I'm not sure if you were going for that or not. Though the foreground colors blending into the background as the trees fade into the distance brings it all together rather nicely.
The colors just look washed out and pasty which is very different from the vibrant colors I'm use to seeing from you. Not saying that's a bad thing though. You pulled it off well.
