Hey there, everyone!
In case you didn't know, I'm doing DeviantArt's Drawtober challenge this year to get some cool badges for my profile because I like collecting stuff. (All of the info can be found here if you wanna join in too!)

Today's prompt was "owl" so I drew Stolas from Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow!
I know, I could've drawn Stolas from Helluva Boss instead but that sounded a bit too expected. XD

You might already know about this, but Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is my favorite Castlevania game of all time and one of my top favorite GBA games! I actually replay it every year or so in October, I think it's perfect for spooky month since a lot of it's enemies are classic scary monsters like Frankenstein, skeletons, zombies, vampires, death itself and even different types of demons. :D

Dawn of Sorrow is the sequel to Aria of Sorrow, released on the Nintendo DS. I didn't really play that one a lot.. I personally prefer the vibes of the original AoS, but DoS looks super cool too and I'll try to give it a try again soon!

You play as Soma Cruz, who is totally not related to Dracula in any way (lmao) and can use the Power of Dominance to control and summon the souls of the monsters that he defeats... That means that yes, every enemy you see in AoS and DoS have a chance to drop their soul and give you a unique power/attack.

You see why I love this game now? You can use 3 types of souls at once, but you can only have one of each equipped at a time. (𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭, 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭) The combinations are endless! It's super fun to mess around with the souls and find new ways to tackle any obstacles and foes.

I've been playing AoS for years now and I still get surprised by the different combinations that you can put together.
