I just got a feeling here one day during this dA hiatus I want draw more current picture of MoA.I just realized that gosh it has HUGE feathers (yes I hadn't even think this before during 7+ years...). Not that many wing feathers total but at least they are big...and very coarse. So is MoA's fur, it's short and pretty hard. Mane is just long, chest fur is a bit softer.

Lineart was made after midnight, colouring was made next day before 03.00am so this is not the best what I could do. xp At least anatomy is a such right...at least a while. Alter ego varies much more than any else of my critters.

Either way it's still a beautiful design. ^^ What are these creature anyway? Are they based off of griffins or something of your own making?

MoA is one of a kind. (I'm not sure how much you're familiar with term 'alter ego', much like a collective term of any sort of fursonas, personas, whateversonas people use to represent themselves around the net.)
Either way, MoA's species is called 'Uncreated'. Back to the 2002 when I created MoA, I used many elements from many animals which later got the current shape as something more or less unique. The unremovable helmet is probably the most distinctive feature.

That's really interesting. Sorry if I sounded rude before, I thought this was more of an oc. Back in my school my friends and I use the term 'artist's rendition' instead of alter ego. But you're right, I don't think one would sell an alter ego in a pet store XD

Pffth, not rude at all, just rather amusing instead.
People use their character differently, and alter ego is some kind of character anyway; if nothing else, the so said character is yourself. Some people have their alter ego orwhatevertermtheyuse more clearer a character, in a role in some story. Once I tried make MoA as a separated character but that didn't work for me, instead I have a bunch of characters and everyone of them are not "myself" and thus easier to handle and making them more diverse.

Yeah in school, my friends an I draw in a sketch book random comics all the time. We have other characters too. Thus mine is Aequinox. So I get what you mean. My best friend Tdbreslawski uses his artist's rendition/alter ego on this site as well.

Koska niitä oli se tietty määrä -> siivet näytti pieniltä -> kasvatetaan kokoa -> sulkien koko kasvaa -> nykytilanne. Enkä mä siis ollu ees aatellu asiaa vasta kun oikeastaan vähän ennen kun tää piti submitata. ._o

A more basic pic for Miss MoA, something I have been looking forward to for a long while. I love the colors; that's all I can really say right now. They are just so dark and icy looking, or maybe that's because they are cool colors and black; I don't know. |3

These colours just feel more comfortable than yellows, oranges, greens or browns... |p ... Cool colours for a person who likes cool weather - coincidence or not it works.
...Though black is still horrendous colour to shade...
