Description
In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is the "Doom of the Gods", which is the fate of many of the Gods. There are two wolves that are involved with this event; Hati Hróðvitnisson(top wolf) and Sköll(bottum wolf). Sköll chases after Sól(the sun) and Hati chases after Máni(the moon), finally catching and eating them. In the result of this, The Nine Worlds are then plagued by an extended winter.
Fenrir(middle wolf) is a gigantic, overgrown wolf that is the father of Hati and Sköll. He was exiled from Earth by the Gods because they were afraid of him and he grew so massive. When Ragnarök occurs, Fenrir escapes from his binds, joining the rest of the war against the Gods and defeats Óðinn, yet is killed by Óðinn's son; Víðarr.
Drawing was done with Staedtler B/HB, 4B and 6B pencils on 9x12 drawing paper.
EDIT: The quality is not the best at the moment, but will update this file with a scanned version soon later on. Once I can find the cord that is missing for the scanner..

I love how you interpreted the norse myths! I've always felt so bad for Fenrir, and all of the children of Loki for that matter, as well as himself. A very sad story, and you did the characters justice

The moment I saw it I know this piece had a mythical story behind it. I like the border you did for it.

A great take on the mythology - I love the detail in Fenrir's snarl and his convincing, lupine eyes. My only critique would be to increase the colour contrast between Skoll and Hati, as I feel it would increase the power of the characters and the image. But otherwise, a refreshing piece of wolf art that really brings out their animal side.

Thank you. This drawing was taken with a camera, but I do plan on re-scanning and editing it further, since I am not 100% agreeable with it. Figured I would share it in the mean time though.
