I love how deep art critic people get over what is apparently a candid shot. its a nice image no less but you didnt have that much time to set it up right? yet people still speak like you set up the whole thing in a studio.

This is such an amazing shot. The squint in his eye from the sun, perhaps him knowing the shot was being taken, it's beautifully done.

Love the gradation of the background. The pole serves as a nice tool used to bring us into the picture and balances the photo with the subject primarily using it. I like the textures of his hair, the clothers around his waste, and then the tents... they all seem to enhance one another. Very nice in b&w too!

Somebody said they don't like the empty space behind him, but I think that's my favorite part Seems like a clear day, perfect to go to a carnival and breathe the crisp fresh air. It could be just the mood I'm in, but I find this very refreshing! And as always, fantastic composition and tones.
