Beautiful. I really like how you caught the fur-like texture without resorting to doing each individual hair. The whole thing meshes nicely with the real-life-photo background, I had to look a couple times to realize they were two different media.
What kind of media did you use to color in Char? Prisma Markers?

I think Arcanine looks natural with the forest BG, and the necklace you made him wear tells me you really like Archy(^^
I like pokemon too, games are great. My fave is Charizard ( I love fire breathing dragons with bad attitude)

Hermmm. The drawing is really good, but I think cartoons with real world things in the same picture just don't mix. I can appreciate the shadow you added though.
