Description Don't want to look for any mistakes now. Too tired, too weird.

Anyway, these are your experts for Werewolf infestations! Those guys kicked major butt during our last Ahadi RPG session. Their appearance alone made our group's werelion turn tail and flee. The rest of the players barely escaped, while the Team remained largely unharmed. They were really fun to think up. Most of them don't have real names because the players wouldn't know them anyway, so don't wonder.
Meet the Team (from left to right):

"Mr. Scorpion" who found that becoming a Fomor isn't exactly good for sensitive skin. He's got the stamina of a grass stalk but a mega dexterity rating. Also he's a wall walker and has this nasty poisonous sting.

"The Tank" whose big advantage aren't, as you might guess, his brains. He's monstrous, has an exoskeleton that even Garou claws can hardly penetrate and soaks most damage that tries to get through anyway.

Sgt. Bernette who is indeed French. After a werewolf related accident the Bane inside of him was so kind as to replace his clawed-out eye and half the face. Staring into that eye is not recommended. He mostly relies on his technical equipment, like an experimental vibro knife and the mechanical arms, "Waldoes".

"Sam Fisher" who is in truth a real vampire. This is what he looks like during the day. He seems to be so good as a sharpshooter that he barely needs his vampiric disciplines.

Sssht-Chyaargh, former Black Fury. She's an element of chaos and relies on damage-heavy Ahroun and Metis gifts. She's also quite insane and gets out of control easily.

If you'd like to use them for your own games, feel free to do so. [And please don't mention "the Thing", I was just sticking to the damn Freak Legions rulebook.]

X) In our case, we made the team too hard to beat. So far the players had had a really easy time shredding their enemies. Also, they fell for every single simple trick we used on them. For example, the team opened by firing gas grenades among the assembled pack. And of course, the players scattered and all coordination broke down. Then the team could pick them off one by one, staying out of trouble themselves. In the end, the pack had to flee, and the team lost only one, with one other member wounded. That was not so bad, however, since it fit in the story nicely. It also gave us storytellers the possibility to get players moving along by announcing an inbound First Team when things began to drag. And in the end of the larger story, they could take a whole team helicopter down in a big fireball, so their pride was mended. ^^

XD Damn, chaotic. But nice that they managed to mend their pride in the end! Hopefully our pack will have a similar chance. Right now they are going to head back home to the sept to get yelled at by the Elders and then getting some time training packtacitics with their mentors X)

Ehehe. Let me know how it went! Our players reacted like headless chicken, another ST said that his players demolished almost the entire team... if you do use them, I'd me most curious about the outcome.

I may have to take up your offer and borrow this team. My party right now is looking at taking on Pentex in a very direct manner, and I need some fun First Teams for them to encounter to remind them that yes, Pentex is bloody terrifying. Any chance you could message me some more detailed stats and abilities for this group? I'd really appreciate

Great! Let me know how it went, yes? I don't think I have the stats anymore, or at least the half that I did, since my co-ST had the other half, but most of the Fomori powers are listed in the description, give them according attributes and you should be fine. Just don't make them too easy, these are meant as tough enemies who show the PCs their limits. Also, they were great to show our group that what tactical advantage means. While our (mixed fera) group just ran apart after the initial gas grenades without a plan, the First Team could just pick them off easily, so make them act quite coordinated and strategically smart. ^^

So, they're finally showing up this coming friday. I realize in hindsight that I never asked what clan Sam Fisher is from. If you could let me know, that would be epic. I'll give you a report on Saturday how everything went - and will probably send you their sheets as well for the fun of it.

Thanks again!

I think he was a wayward Gangrel. Don't know much about his skillset anymore, though. And thanks a lot, I'm really curious how it'll go.

Alright, here we go.

The players had time to set up a small fortification in a hallway, as the party mage had determined that something big was coming. Not long after, Tank came down the hallway, and was large enough to provide full cover for the teammates behind him. The party emptied everything into him, but he didn't even get scratched by all the focused fire.

Second round, Hush dropped out of invisibility behind the party to open fire, and Slither came in through the building's sprinkler system. Tank smashed through the barricade with a single punch. Then a gas grenade and a flash bang rolled through Tank's legs, thrown by Capt. Bernadotte behind him.

The next round Tank dealt 11 bashing (after soak) to the party Mokole, knocking her out for the fight. However, Slither and Hush were not doing nearly as well. The mage had aged Hush several decades with Entropy magic, giving him some penalties on his dexterity. Slither was just rolling really badly on all his damage rolls.

The next round, after three rounds of focused fire, the party brought Tank down, revealing the Captain and Scorpion behind him. Unfortunately, the dice favored the players again when the Captain botched his dodge roll when attempting to avoid a called shot to the head. He was killed just as soon as he appeared. Meanwhile, a fear effect sent Hush running... which gave Pentex reason to decide that he was no longer valuable. They blew the bomb in Hush's head.

Scorpion was the next to go down next round. Without his buddies to protect him, he only had so many dodges before he had to soak, and with only one stamina that didn't end well.

Slither was finally taken down after another round of napalm and other non-kinetic attacks.

Sorry for the late reply!
Your group did a loooot better than ours. Focusing their efforts was a good thing, that's what our players didn't do at all, they just chose to be nice single targets. xD That sounds like a fun and engaging fight and surely your players were more than satisfied with their efforts in the end! Thanks for sharing!

Alright. I decided to go with a full Fomori team, instead of three Fomori with a Vampire and a Werewolf. Here's what I'm throwing against my PCs tonight.

Scorpion: As presented here.

Tank: As presented here.

Captain Pip Burnadotte: His powers and skills are as presented here. However, as the game is taking place in an alternate reality version of the Hellsing Anime series, I decided to have him be a corrupted version of a character from the anime.

Hush: Taking the place of Sam Fisher is the Fomori Sniper Hush. His position in First Team 381 is the same as Sam's. I gave him the Webbing power as well, so he can spin traps and make his own sniping positions.

Slither: Sssht-Chyaargh has been replaced by Slither. Like the Black Fury, Slither is the damage monkey of the First Team. He's got all the powers and taints that deal with him having a liquid form. In fact, Slither is little more than a mass of shifting, diseased goop that has retained it's human sentience. It also has the ability to break down the structures if its enemies, turning them into a similarly liquid state.

I'll give you a report on the encounter tomorrow.

Hitler was just a kindred ghoul afaik in WoD terms. Well, if an evil mega company special killer unit had been there to send his ass to hell with silver bullets, it could have saved millions of lives before the fucker shot himself in the head. It would have placed half the world under the command of said evil mega company, though. ... this is getting weird. Why did you ask?

Tacimur In reply to wherewolfe [2008-10-19 12:55:33 +0000 UTC]

They'd have to take stronger drugs to deal with the horror that comes from a MJ Werewolf, but after that I see no problem. The last evil megacompany that messed with him was Sony, btw. x) His reaction was rather unimpressive, so, no big deal for PENTEX. In case of Chuck Norris however... o.o I wouldn't wish that for my worst enemies.
