Fan Art for . It's my favourite of her original species, the Podcat. Beautiful, fascinating creatures and surely much more than just "kewl glowing kittehs".This pic took very long to make and I surely learned a lot about the way stuff reflects in water: weirdly.
If your monitor is dark you're probably just going to see a solid black blob. There's a bit of detail there, though.

You're right, I mostly see a black blob. XD But that's not a bad thing, necessarily. It looks really really cool, in contrast with the background. Like... negative space in the middle of the canvas. 8D ... Yeah. Gotta say, I love your background. It's so sharp and detailed, and the colors are rich. The grass and the tree bark really stand out. Did that kill your patience?

I forgot to say this in my previous comment, so I hope you don't mind my adding on to it. XD I don't appreciate it being really dark, just because it makes the background stand out. I like it also because it makes the podcat more... well, mysterious isn't a great word, but I think you get my drift. I feel like I could be stalked and eaten by that kitty without ever seeing it. =3

PODCATS! ok.. ok.. where do I begin.. gosh this is the most realistic setting/scene iv seen a podcat put in to this date! Even I haven't done a background so apporpriate and full of detail yet! Its beautiful! Gosh it almost looks like a photo :3 I applaud your skill and attention to detail! Oooh that rock and the water.. its just so freakin awesome! the reflections etc are perfect ^^ imo.
As for the podcat itself yeeeeee! Though a little dark on my monitor I turned the brightness up a bit to have a proper look and its just gorgeous Taci! ^^ You got everything, anatomy, lights, look all in place exactly as they should be :3
