Fan Art for . It's my favourite of her original species, the Podcat. Beautiful, fascinating creatures and surely much more than just "kewl glowing kittehs".This pic took very long to make and I surely learned a lot about the way stuff reflects in water: weirdly.
If your monitor is dark you're probably just going to see a solid black blob. There's a bit of detail there, though.

Everything is so eye popping. I simply love the background and enviourment yo put the podcat in. I love the water and especially the ripples. BEAUTIFUL!

Die Spiegelung ist finde ich ganz gut geworden. ^^
Was ich auch gut gelungen funde sind diese weit entfernten BΓ€ume.
Finde nur dass das Moos an den BΓ€umen bissel unnatΓΌrlich wirkt.

i must admit my favorite part is the scenery in the bg. it gives a very dark and eerie feeling. the water is great too!

The way I understood it the name Podcats comes from the 'eggs' they lay. o.o But yes, the glowing orbs were much fun to paint. It was the easiest part of the pic and at the same time the one that catches the eye most.
