Description
Thingie I drew at BerliCon. Supposed to be Rumi in her (!) Crinos as it looks on SecondLife. She doesn't normally wear clothes or accessoires in war form, but on SL it fits the roleplaying environment better.Related content

Black leopardess, yup. In Werewolf: The Apocalypse a number of shapeshifters exist alongside the wolves. In Africa and India, you get these guys.

Hello! Hey, no problem at all. I've been updating the avatar and I'm still around on SL occasionally. I've never really met another Bastet player there except for my RL friends... I'm a bit shy to roleplay in English, I still take far too long to come up with a reply that's both IC and gramatically sound. I'd love to meet you in-world if you want, but don't expect too much of me.

Where do you RP her in SL if you don't mind me asking. I have a Pumonca Bastet I've been playing here and there in SL but haven't found anyone else (cept garou) playing them.

Hmm, that's quite a nice avatar. Most SL avatars looks a little... balloony. XD

And if the guys from The Werehouse keep their promises it's going to be updated during the next year with even smoother, more realistic body parts. Right now, if you zoom in, you can still see the individual prims. [link] or [link]

Ah yes, I see it now. Still, for a prism-built model she looks pretty nice. Most SL models I see are... well, tumour-ridden is the only word I have for it. XD
And they have neon-colours... And no textures. Meh... How nice would it be to just have someone build you a custom model on a real 3D program! Heh.

Haha, my Siyanda would agree with Rumi. She's a Swara metis and doesn't quite understand the point of a shirt. Also tends to find her breasts in Homid and Sokto form to get in the way so always stayed in Crinos form when possible.

Tacimur In reply to Feathered-Cat [2009-06-26 10:10:12 +0000 UTC]
Clothing in Crinos is pointless in my opinion. It gets torn at the slightest occasion and it hinders movement. In Homid however she needs clothes like you and me, the weather in NYC doesn't really play along. Do you have more information on your character floating around somewhere? I'm always very curious about other people's Bastet.

Feathered-Cat In reply to Tacimur [2009-06-26 14:35:34 +0000 UTC]
I don't think there's much information about her kicking around on the net. I never had the chance to play her in a game, just in rping on chat with a good friend of mine. (And all those are locked up on my other hard drive from the last computer.)
A bit of her history is that she's from an isolated zulu tribe that still keeps hunting cheetahs and are not affected by delirium. They have werecheetahs in their village in any of their forms with no issues. Until her father asks her to find her mother, she had no reason to leave the village beyond the hunting fields and so is very innocent and naive.
I don't like her having breasts in her Crinos form either. I mean, it's a WAR form, breasts would get in the way and since it's also half-animal, why would she need full breasts if she's not milking a cub?

Thanks! Sonds interesting. So, are you running an Ahadi chronicle too, or something different?

Feathered-Cat In reply to Tacimur [2009-07-01 14:13:47 +0000 UTC]
Something different, I believe. I haven't heard the term Ahadi (as I said, I've never had the chance to play her in a real game). We just RP back and forth with whatever we come up with. It's resulted in some interesting stories, I must say.

Tacimur In reply to Feathered-Cat [2009-07-01 15:06:01 +0000 UTC]
Ar, sorry, that must have slipped my mind. The Ahadi is something they came up with before they stopped WTA altogether, it's a multi-Fera coaltion that reaches across half of Africa.

Ah. I never heard of that, I don't believe. I will have to go take a look for it. I'm kind of disappointed with WTF.

Tacimur In reply to Feathered-Cat [2009-07-05 09:36:50 +0000 UTC]
I heared that from a lot of people. Many seem to think that the scenario of WTF is too confined, and that basically all you can do is wait that trouble comes to you, fight it off and wait for the next evil thing. I've never read the rulebooks or played it, personally.

My mother got me the rulebook for Easter when it came out. (Sneaky bitch. I pointed it out and flipped through it and she bought it while I was distracted elsewhere in the store.) I just didn't like that so far as I can TELL, there was nothing good except wolves. That every other animal was a demon-like monster. :/

I read through the Changing Breeds book which is not really WTF but useful if you like other Changers. It borders on the silly more than once, though. (Talk about were-frogs or possums)

I was so excited when I went to England and our first stop was a little shop in a town nearby my friend's that still sold WTA stuff. I managed to snag a Laws of the Wild book with the Bastet, the Corax and the Nuwisha, I think it was. As well as volume one and two of The Book of the Wyrm.

The WoD war forms are made for battle, not for nice looks. So, no boobs and wide hips since you're most probably not going to have babies in that form. xD

I like this, particularly the details on the accessories. If you don't mind a little concrit - the stance needs work. If you were to place your legs like that IRL, you would surely topple over. But good work, nevertheless.

Tacimur In reply to AdeptOmega [2009-06-22 19:34:14 +0000 UTC]
Japp.
