Well... follow up pic for tacimur.deviantart.com/art/But… clearly geared towards Furries, but actually dedicated to a wonderful character from the story, the gypsy woman. She's compassionate, strong, mysterious, courageous and she saves the protagonist's ass and foils the Shadow's plans twice. (That's supposed to be him, btw, the Shadow). She gets a lot of beautiful songs on the albums as well. (This one for example. www.youtube.com/watch?v=K71lYq… ) I made her a panthress because witches and black cats, but felt a more powerful animal was needed.

The drawing gave me tons of problems. Done on different computers with different tablets and different Photoshop versions and different displays with different resolutions, contrast and color settings. I'm not going to try to hammer out all the flaws that this caused, am twitchy enough now.

EDIT: So I read in an old, hard-to-find interview that Dan in his mind imagined the gypsy woman to be 60-ish, despite her getting physical with the Shadow and despite frequent references to her enchanting eyes and smile. That makes me like her even more! ^^ Okay , so I'm off on that detail here in the pic - or maybe cats just age better.
