He threw his unfired pistol to the ground, while his opponent still grappled with the incredible fact that he had just broken the rules like this. "And you don't get to tell me what to do and what to leave! I do whatever I want, do you understand?" He let that sink in for a second before relaxing his shoulders a bit and continuing in a more placatory tone. "I do apologize for lying to you. But that's all." Vargus ground his teeth for a moment longer, but then gave a nod. "Good. I accept."

And like that, they can pack it up and finally get that thing behind them. I don't know yet how Vargus gets wind of the whole affair concerning Naran and Valeria and what it all is going be good for, but couldn't resist picturing the outcome. He'd have to make good on his promise that Naran would have to eat a bullet, despite really really not wanting to. There's enough upheaval in the senate as it is. Naran also doesn't want to, seeing that he's already so high on Gadeth's shit list. But honor demands a duel. So laying down once and for all who's the alpha male is a bit of a risky move, but it works. Full reconciliation eventually.
