Terrorbirds though. A modern golden eagle could kill a wolf with a single well aimed strike to the skull. Monsters like Kelenken must have been nearly unstoppable.
Going more for "scary" than "accurate" here, don't hit me.

Darf ich mal kurz erwähnen, dass ich den Titel des Bildes so liebe, ich hab das gelesen und bin in schallendes Gelächter ausgebrochen! xD
... but srsly, mega krasses Bild. Super umgesetzt, tolle Landschaft - das Vögelchen und seine Beute sticht nur dadurch etwas raus, dass der Hintergrund als solcher eher gepaintet ist, während die Tiere noch solide Outlines haben... sonst wär's kaum von 'nem Foto zu unterscheiden!

I don't think this would count as mature content. I've seen living animals eating here on DA that were bloodier and weren't labelled as mature.

Zum Glück gibt es diese Vögel nicht mehr. Ich glaube aber damals waren viele Tiere größer und somit die Verhältnisse wieder ausgeglichen.
