First sad failed attempt at drawing something scaly with Polychromos. This char is from my fic, too. He is Taburo's cruel and fanatic master.Related content

I really like this pic. not enough people draw Scalies(pardon my french) but I like his proportins kinda hard to get sum of the that stuff down

if polychromos are like prismas (which I think they are) I can tell you something
the scales are VERY good but the cape could be smoother. to do so: do the base coloring with a marker (you have copics, right?), a dark grey would do great, and then start doing a layer in pencil with grey, then another layer with a darker one (if you have 2 or 3 dark greys, that is) and then black, and at the end smooth everything with a lighter tone (the one you used first for example)

Thank you very much for the hint, I'll try it some time. Well I guess in terms of markers/prismas(polychromos) I'm still at the very beginning. On the other hand that might be a good thing, still much to learn, still much improvement to come - at least I hope so! ^^
