This is one of the reasons I will never finish this story... Too many characters...Lauma is actually a Baltic forest spirit but I have upgraded her to one of the first True Godesess. She is the forest personified and is, like most deities both a protector and a destroyer.
Lauma is kind and giving, but if you anger her children or destroy her lands without proper sacrifice she will send the dark spirits to haunt you and drag you into the dark. She has no qualms about simply taking lost wanderers either, if they stray to far into the core of her woods.
She is one of the quieter deities though, and only acts when asked or provoked. Her demands and rewards are equally slow in their progress. If you ask for a child she will want you to plant a tree, and their growth will be much the same. She is not one to care about the lives of mortals, but she will listen when they ask never the less.
I might make some more of the True Gods... They are fun to design, even if they don't show up in the story much! XP
